Thai and international applicants are welcome. Candidates willing to relocate to Bangkok will also be considered.
Introduction
We are hiring a Dynamics AX Developer for a long-term role with a Danish Microsoft Dynamics specialist company with a growing office in Bangkok.
This role is for a developer who genuinely understands classic Microsoft Dynamics AX, especially AX 2009 and AX 2012. Several key customer environments continue to run these versions in production, and the work requires strong hands-on experience with X++, MorphX and the AOT.
This is not a functional consultant role. We are looking for a developer who can work directly with technical customizations, bug fixing, reporting, integrations and long-term solution ownership.
You will be based in Bangkok and collaborate closely with an experienced Danish ERP team in English.
What You Will NOT Do
This is not a functional consultant role. You will not primarily be responsible for business process consulting, workshops or end-user functional advisory. The focus is technical development, customization, maintenance and solution improvement within Dynamics AX.
How You Will Work
You will work as a dedicated developer connected to one Danish Microsoft Dynamics specialist team. The role requires a balance of independence and close collaboration — taking ownership of technical tasks, asking clear questions when needed, and contributing to stable long-term customer solutions.
Daily communication will be in English. The work setup will include collaboration with colleagues in Denmark, so some overlap with Central European working hours is expected.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain customizations in Dynamics AX 2009 and AX 2012 using X++ (AOT / MorphX)
- Bug fixing, enhancements and performance optimization on live customer environments
- Build and modify reports, including SSRS and legacy AX reporting
- Work with integrations such as AIF, services and batch jobs
- Collaborate daily with the Danish team in English
- Take long-term ownership of the solutions you work on
- Over time, contribute to upgrade and migration paths towards D365 Finance & Operations
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on X++ development experience in AX 2009 and/or AX 2012
- Strong understanding of classic AX architecture (AOT, data dictionary, tables, classes, forms, layers)
- Experience working with MorphX
- Experience with SQL Server / T-SQL
- Ability to work independently on technical tasks
- Comfortable collaborating with a European team in English
- Working proficiency in English
Nice to Have
- Integration experience with AIF, web services, .NET Business Connector or EDI
- Experience with SSRS and legacy AX reporting
- Exposure to D365 Finance & Operations
- Experience working with European or Nordic clients
- Experience working in distributed international teams
